Assignments & course documents

Homework is worth roughly 150 points, about 27% of the course — the four lecture exams carry the rest. Everything is due at 11:59 PM, and late work loses 3% per day up to a maximum of 50% off, so a late submission is always worth making.

Microbe Presentation

Named in the syllabus as part of the homework points, with no date given yet. Given that Assignment 1 has you build a species list from your own biome, it is worth choosing that biome with the presentation in mind — the search you do in week 1 is plausibly the groundwork for it.
